Why build in central Arkansas?

History

Standing at 230 feet in the Little Rock air, this is one of the grandest capitol buildings in the country. As such, it features stunning architecture which includes a circular central drum tower, fully capped with a dome and cupola which serve to signify the quintessential in governmental architecture. A striking Neoclassical building, the capitol was modeled after the United States Capitol. It has served as the state’s seat of government since it was completed in 1915. The building is located on grounds in proximity to several other monuments.

Economy

Where miles equal minutes, over one million people live within 50 minutes of Downtown Little Rock. So, twelve central Arkansas counties and their unique communities are united to compete as one common, globally recognized brand – Little Rock. $1.55 billion new capital investment, $459 million new annual payroll, and 12,000 jobs later, the results are indisputable and historically unprecedented.

Education

Arkansas’s system of higher education spans the state. Public two- and four-year colleges dot the landscape in every region, making access to quality information convenient. Whether it’s time to earn that master’s degree or brush up on computer skills, the opportunity is yours at a nearby college. University of Arkansas at Little Rock, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and the University of Central Arkansas, Conway are just a few schools of higher learning here in Central Arkansas.
